Hello,
I am a 24 year old artist currently working and living in Ottawa, Ontario. My earliest memories involve creating art as often as I could. I began my own comic book series at the ripe old age of 8. I first began to express my creativity with pencil. As I grew, this transitioned to film . By merging the two art forms together I was able to discover my passion of animation.
In Spring 2020, I graduated from Algonquin College's Animation program. My most recent work was within the Toon Boom Harmony program at Jam Filled Entertainment in Ottawa, creating character animations. With past projects including Netflix's Inside Job, HBO Max's Clone High, Nickelodeon's Loud House and more.
Education:
I was fortunate to attend Colonel By Secondary School the year after they started their SHSM ( Specialized High School Major) in technology. This was a fantastic opportunity to hone my skills as a filmmaker and visual storyteller. Opportunities to direct as well as learning the importance of working well together with others to complete productions on a tight deadline were invaluable.
Because of my prior experiences, the Animation Program at Algonquin College became a natural fit. During the 3 year course I learned how to create animations using various software. Algonquin's primary focus is on background design, hand drawn and Harmony animation. The course also gave me the chance to explore 3D character animation and modelling through MAYA software.
